Full Panel Compliance Testing

Residual Solvents Testing
Residual solvents are the organic volatile chemicals that are used during the extraction and might not be completely removed by practical manufacturing techniques. Current limit for Butane, Heptane and Propane is less than 500 ppm. Extract of marijuana made with CO2 extractor doesn’t require residual solvents testing.

Terpene Testing
Terpenes are the main class of aromatic compounds found in cannabis and give each string of Cannabis its own unique scent. There are ten terpenes required to be tested by the state.

Microbial Screening
Microbial testing is mandated by the state law. We will use both the traditional method and kits to ensure the results are accurate.

Pesticide Residue Analysis
Pesticide includes “any substance or mixture of substances intended for preventing, destroying, repelling, or mitigating any pest; or any substance or mixture of substances intended for use as a plant regulator, defoliant, or desiccant; and any nitrogen stabilizer” (defined in FIFRA section 2(u) by EPA). It is tested by LC/MS/MS/MS or GC/MS/MS/MS at our lab.

Aflatoxin Testing
Aflatoxins is produced mainly by two species of Aspergillus (A. flavus, and A. parasiticus) due to its growth under warm and humid conditions. It is a mandate testing for usable marijuana.

Heavy Metals Testing
We use ICP-MS with microwave digestion to analyze heavy metals in the plants. We also can test the heavy metal in the soil and water if needed.

Homogeneity Testing
Homogeneity testing is performed for edible or liquid marijuana-infused products.

Potency Testing
Cannabinoid is a class of chemical compounds which contribute to the medical effect of Cannabis. State requires the potency testing of these Cannabinoids: delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (Δ-9-THC), delta-8-tetrahydrocannabinol (Δ-8-THC), delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinolic acid (Δ-9-THCA), cannabidiol (CBD), cannabidiolic acid (CBDA), and cannabinol (CBN).
Knowing the cannabinoid profile and potency ensures a patient’s correct dosage for their needs.
All RSR Lab testing exceeds requirements for compliance with Nevada State Laws.
Testing
In Nevada, all marijuana requires potency and limit testing. Depending on the type of the product, the limit testing might vary. See NAC-453A.654 for details.
Nutraceutical
& CBD
Testing
At RSR, we offer a wide range of vitamin and cannabinoid analysis. These analysis are ideal to ensure the quality of the raw materials and finished products. In addition, we also offer impurities test, such as heavy metal, pesticide screen, and microbials.
Microbial Environmental Monitoring
Have concerns about where or how your product is being contaminated ? We are here for you! We provide onsite microbial tests to find the source of your issue.
